This is a top view of the kitchen so that you can see the shape of the counter top.
I followed as best I could the latest drawing you sent. I hope I included everything
you wanted in this plan. I will require accurate detailed room measurements in order to finalize
a plan for you. This plan was developed using a 1/4" scale drawing and should
only be used for artistic purposes.
This view shows the angled sink, and lots of counter over the dishwasher.
There is ample room for
cleanup and preparation. I'm not sure that the apron style sink
goes well with the base cabinet being pulled forward. The front edge of the counter
on both sides of the sink will have a small point that may be fragile.
I located the trash compactor to the left of the oven cabinet. To the left of the
compactor is a large recycle cabinet.
Important note:
You mentioned that the sink window was only 41-42" off the floor.
Be careful when ordering counter tops with a backsplash. You may need a
special sized splash. Measure for the splash after the cabinets are installed.
You also wanted a spice shelf. Where would you like it located?
The wall cabinets are hung at 96" with no molding.
The range and hood area was not well
described on the plan, so I left that area open for a decorative functional hood.
To the left of the refrigerator
I located a recommended tall end panel that wasn't detailed on
the supplied plan. The tall cabinet will have four roll out shelves. Each base cabinet will have
two levels of roll out shelves.
The eating area shown should consist of a small table. Please select a table that
will not interfere with the cabinets.
Some options you might consider:
Crown molding to top off the cabinets would add a nice touch.
Instead of pulling the sink forward, you might just have turned legs
split and applied to the cabinet face.
